How can v condition and shampoo the hair with natural products?

for eg:one of my frnd said me abt a conditioner prepared wit lemon...i.e to boil one cup of water with a lemon, boil it till one cup of water reduce to 1/2cup, then to cool it and refrigerate...and to apply this on hair by spraying? i haven't tried yet...how far this preparation is true?wil it leads to any side effectHow can v condition and shampoo the hair with natural products?
Actually conditioners are frequently acidic, as low pH protonates the amino acids, providing the hair with positive charge and thus more hydrogen bonds between the keratin scales, giving the hair a more compact structure. Organic acids such as citric acid are usually used to maintain acidity.

Sometimes a high concentration of citric acid can damage hair and bleach it.

Contact with dry citric acid or with concentrated solutions can result in skin and eye irritation, so protective clothing should be worn when handling these materials.

Excessive consumption is capable of eroding the tooth enamel.

Contact to the eyes can cause a burning sensation, and may cause blindness with prolonged exposure in extremely high concentrations.

now it's upon u!

Has anyone ever tried Kiss My Face shampoo or other hair products?

What did you think of it? I bought a sample bottle of it and liked it, though the smell is a bit much. The price is expensive too so I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy a full bottle, especially since there's no shampoo and conditioner in one.Has anyone ever tried Kiss My Face shampoo or other hair products?
The price IS a bit much. The shampoo made my hair all oily.

Can you please name a shampoo product that makes your hair really straight?

I really badly want to straighten my hair but my parents won't buy me a hair straightener so is there any hair shampoo product that straightens your hair? Please give me the name of it and I will choose you best answer, thx!Can you please name a shampoo product that makes your hair really straight?
Herbal essences dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner. Can you please name a shampoo product that makes your hair really straight?
all the hair serums, frizz ease, shampoo and conditioner that say they'll make your hair straight WILL NOT!! can you have a curling iron? they work! what about an clothes iron? ive used one and they work. when you do this take sections of your hair like this http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w257/princesscalea/102_2522.jpg and put the towel on your hand and underneath your hair http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w257/princesscalea/102_2527.jpg so you don't get burnt. slide your hand with the towel down as you slide the iron down. BUT you might want to be careful it kinda stinks like burt hair and your parents might smell it.
mane %26amp; tail has sls (sles) in it so that could actually cause your hair to thin :: olive oil will help: http://www.amazingoliveoil.com/olive-oil鈥?/a> ::and you should condition it so that it stays strong when you blow-dry it: you can make your own at home: http://www.pioneerthinking.com/hair.html
shampoos dont straighten hair. you have to blow dry it to get it straight and then flat iron it if you want it super straight. they sell products to put on your hair before using heat on it so it doesnt get damaged. thats probably what you should be looking for instead of shampoo.
Shampoo's don't make hair straight. Mane and Tails isn't a Miracle worker. It doesn't do anything for hair, and Herbal Essences is for people with straight hair. It does not make hair do anything.
Shampoos can possibly make your hair smoother but they will not just make your hair straight. Mane and Tail really doesnt do much at all. I have tried it many times.
Maine and tail, originally for horses, but works wonders on humans.
earn or save money and buy one , there are really cheap ones u can get them with 20 $ , it wont do wonders but it would work better than shampoos and those stuff
comb it

Whats the best wax, shampoo, cleaning products for seat`s onvi yellow?

use a mild dish soap and cold water to wash the car and then apply (once a year) vMeguires carnuba auto wax for a sparkling finish...forget what you hear about shampoos and other cleaners because most of them are hype ... remember that you are only protecting the clear/coat paint and it is tough and delicate/thin all at the same time.... good luck and do the polish/wax by hand -- a buffer can burn the car edges of paint -- by hand is the bestWhats the best wax, shampoo, cleaning products for seat`s onvi yellow?

Is it okay for adults to use BABY PRODUCTS like Soap, Body wash, shampoo?

i would like to use nivea baby cream soapIs it okay for adults to use BABY PRODUCTS like Soap, Body wash, shampoo?
Of course!

You'd be suprised how many people use baby products on themselves.

Baby products usually have the same basic ';ingrediants'; yet on a much gentler/lesser scale. Many people use baby products due to incredibly sensitive skin that would be irritated by normal products.

The only thing I wouldn't really use on myself would be soap intended for babies, since the soap is not nearly as strong as may leave you a little less fresh than normal. Is it okay for adults to use BABY PRODUCTS like Soap, Body wash, shampoo?
Yes, especially if you have sensitive skin!

It really just means it is sensitive enough for a baby, and you can use pretty much anything they can.
yeah definitely! i personally love baby products because theyre so gentle on me.
Absolutely! Most of them are more gentle too. Nivea is a good product.
Yeah, they've just got a more neutral pH for baby skin.

What are the ingredients in marijuanah cleansing shampoo & blood & urine products?

  • Would it be ok to use both the sunsilk shampoo and conditioners with garnier fructis products?

I ran out of my sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner and I want to try sunsilk. But I still have a alot of the sleek and shine serum and leave in conditioner. Can I use these with the sunsilk shampoos and conditioners with out any adverse effects? Thanks!!Would it be ok to use both the sunsilk shampoo and conditioners with garnier fructis products?
you;ve never mixed products before? I dont think Ive ever used the same shampoo and conditioner brands ever. No nothing bad happens lol, sometimes it works better.Would it be ok to use both the sunsilk shampoo and conditioners with garnier fructis products?
It's fine to mix products, but sometimes when you do so, your hair starts to smell funky. Make sure it all smells okay together. One time, I used Paul Mitchell serum with VO5 mousse and it smelled DISGUSTING! Hope this helps.
ofcourse! usually mixing brands gets the best results....

but i defently suggest Redkin my hair was always dry and knoty, ive tried sooo many different brands but im never going back to that!
i dont like that sunsilk stuff it dries your hair out you should be using loreal products, but if i had to know then yes it would be okay to mix them
i don't think that you would get the full effect.

Can I Take My Shampoo/Conditioner Hair Care and Body Products overseas in my check in luggage?

Okay I'm flying from (Brisbane)Australia To Port Moresby Papua New Guinea and i want to know if I'm able to take all my toiletries on my check in bag because i have sensitive skin and a lot of products react with it so i have certain products that i want to take...???Can I Take My Shampoo/Conditioner Hair Care and Body Products overseas in my check in luggage?
Yes you can. Be sure you put them in plastic bags so they do not

leak all over you clothing. Also if you are taking an aerosol can - not

recommended - put it in a bag also. You'd hate to have it explode

all over the contents of your bag. It is a good idea to take travel sizes

if at all possible and you can purchase small bottles and container

for that purpose. Have a wonderful trip! Can I Take My Shampoo/Conditioner Hair Care and Body Products overseas in my check in luggage?
I think it's fine so long as the bottles are under 50ml each

Whats a good hair shampoo product to make your hair grow out long?

I've just cutted my hair really short, that is know up to my neck. I've been planning to grow my hair faster up to august.

Any shampoo suggestions?Whats a good hair shampoo product to make your hair grow out long?
All I can really think to offer are products that are good at preventing breakage, which would keep your hair from growing long.

    - Mane and Tail

    - Redken

    - Matrix

    - Tresemm茅*

    - Aussie*

    - Infusium 23

    - Pantene Restoratives*

Those with asterisks are considerably cheaper and can be found in nearly any store. I personally favor Tresemm茅 Anti-Breakage with Aussie's 3-Minute Miracle Treatment, but perhaps you should save such a strong conditioner for when your hair grows out a little more. In the meantime, don't forget to get a trim every once in awhile to kill any split ends, and use heat sparingly (I never blow-dry and very rarely straighten/curl).Whats a good hair shampoo product to make your hair grow out long?
cutted isn't a word, go back to school.

mane n tail horse shampoo is amazing

Good shampoo/conditioner/styling products for highlighted hair. I also flat iron it frequently?

I want to take care of my hair because i straighten it a lot and i don't want it damaged. I also recently got it highlighted, so I want to know like what kind of shampoo and conditioner should I use? Brands and specifics please. Also are there any products to protect hair from heat damage while flat ironing? Right now I use Matrix but I'm just wondering. Tell me anything you know, please and I'll appreciate it sooo much! Thanks. :)Good shampoo/conditioner/styling products for highlighted hair. I also flat iron it frequently?
I use the product called Redken. I LOVE it. I wouldnt use anything else. They have all sorts of kinds you can get. Their website lets you take a test based on your hair and it will give you certain products to use. I use the Blonde Glam (seeing I have blonde hair and its also highlighted) Works great and smells awesome! Plus, they have a spray its a UV spray its from Redken but I forget what its actually called, but its for flat iron and helps the heat not ware on ur hair! hope i helped!!!Good shampoo/conditioner/styling products for highlighted hair. I also flat iron it frequently?
there are plenty heat defense products out there..i would try thermasilk or dove heat styling line products..you can also buy them for color treated hair which include highlights..dove also has a line for color treated hair

What is the best shampoo and hair products for frizzy hair?

my hair is pretty wavy and sort of thick and frizzy. i usually straighten it so i need a good line of products that can tame my frizz and keep my hair soft and shiny. also what's the best heat protector spray? What is the best shampoo and hair products for frizzy hair?
Treseme has a really good heat protecting spray, so does John Fredia and both can be found at reasonable prices. I recommend Dove Frizz Therapy. Also the frizz fighting spray from John Fredia. It tames frizz without being greasy. Good luck! What is the best shampoo and hair products for frizzy hair?
shampoo your hair less often (unless it gets dirty easily or you work out everyday). Shampooing your hair everyday or every other day is death to your hair, as it strips your hairs natural oils and protection. this is esp. important for you because you use heating appliances, which is hard on the hairs' cuticles. make sure to rinse your hair with cool or lukewarm water, hot water is a no-no. Pureology makes great shampoos that are sulfate-free. i love them!

Also, use a leave in conditioner every time you wash your hair, it's moisturizing and not heavy. Sally beauty supply has really great heat protection sprays, Beyond the Zone's ';turn up the heat'; is the best in my opinion.

In the meantime, use a shine serum on your hair. This will weigh your hair down to prevent frizzies from flying up, and it will also seal the cuticle of your hair, preventing moisture loss.

You can find all this stuff at a beauty supply store, drugstores aren't as helpful.
Beyond the Zone Turn Up The Heat Protection Spray is the best!

Some people say that it is a but greasy but if you only spray on a small amount of it it shouldn't be a problem !

It is cheap and affordable and works!

But it is currently only available in Sally Beauty Supply Stores!

    http://www.sallybeauty.com/Turn-Up-The-H鈥?/a>
lol. u not the only one, i have same problem!! but the vo5 red heat defence spray-tame, seems to cut the fizz on my hair. Wel get john fridea straight shampoo and conditoner..it very smooth and soft and easy to straigten also with the straightenin spray!
    Try Dove 'Frizz Control Therapy'.

They also have Heat Shield Spray.

  • Good hair products(shampoo, conditioner,l鈥?in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?

I am an Asian and have black coarse naturally wavy hair that's one length cut at shoulder length. It is a bit thick and tends to have nicer wavy when it's wet after washing my hair. After my hair dries naturally, it has loose messy waves that is very frizzy and tends to flyaway. The strands of my hair will stick out that makes it looks very messy as if I didn't comb my hair. Is there any brand of shampoo and conditioner that will combat the frizz and make my waves nicer while moisturising my hair at the same time? Hopefully the brands can be found easily in supermarket and drug store(eg. Pantene, Sun Silk, Loreal,Charles Worthington etc).I live in Singapore where the climate is hot and humid all year round. I do not colour my hair and hope that I can achieve nice natural waves without using any heat products. Besides shampoo and conditioner, is there any other hair products you love? Thank you for taking your time to help me!Good hair products(shampoo, conditioner,l鈥?in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?
No shampoo or conditioner can help you only good old fashioned jizism.Good hair products(shampoo, conditioner,l鈥?in lotion etc)for flyaway, frizzy and wavy shoulder length hair.?
i know that kind of problems since opening until i closed the salon, Ive been working in salon for more than a year, i actually know that problem since my sister also have that kind of hair. why dont you try Schwarzkopf product, you try their total repair treatment it nicer on hair to make your hair soft and healthy then you can use their moisture kick conditioner, its a leave in styles in a convenient bottle which you can carry it anywhere since you said that you live in country where he weather is hot. so you can spray it anytime of the day.

and about your hair styles dint just thinned around, their are style that compliment waxy hair, ask some stylist about it.

and setting up your hair, used some curler and some styling product that can tamed your hair. try some cream based product

i know you can do it girl..
I would thin out the inner hair next time you go to get a haircut and then apply frizz ease by john frieda! great product , have been using it for yrs. That way, when you blow dry your hair, people won't even notice inside the hair , just the top layer and youcut your style time down a lot.
HAIRAPY ITS GREAT JK JK IDK I JUST WANT MORE POINTS
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Duane Reade, Safeway, and select Wal-Mart and CVS. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

    http://www.organixhair.com/
Don't wash your hair every day. Wash it every other day. Don't use shampoo anymore. You can wash your hair with conditioner or check out Wen Cleansing Conditioner - great stuff: http://www.chazdean.com/ (I don't know if they ship to Singapore).

Use a good styling product and put it in your hair when it is wet and let your hair air dry. Or you can, after you put in the styling product, wait until your hair is about 90% dry, then wrap it in a bun and leave it for about 30 minutes until it is fully dry. Take it out and you should have beautiful, gentle waves.
I had the same problem and found the solution really cheap! Herbal essences ';break's over'; shampoo and conditioner worked wonders. Stopped the frizz and flyaways, and it has like silk proteins and pearl complex to hydrate the hair and make it look shiny and gorgeous! Give it a try!

Which is the best brand of hair products including of shampoo and conditioner thanks?

also can you tell me where i can buy is and im looking for something to make my hair healthier and longer thanksWhich is the best brand of hair products including of shampoo and conditioner thanks?
it depends on your hair which brand is good 4 u. go to a salon and ask them 4 adviceWhich is the best brand of hair products including of shampoo and conditioner thanks?
I love Pantene Pro-V, the new Herbal Essences line, and lately I've splurged and gotten So Sexy shampoo and conditioner from Victoria's Secret. It's 3 for $21 (I buy the hair serum as the third product) and it smells *so* good. My boyfriend loves the scent and it makes my hair feel wonderful!

I also love the site MakeupAlley.com --- they have reviews for every beauty/styling product out there. Search for shampoos/conditioners...it's a great way to find out how other people like shampoos/conditioners and what the most popular, well-reviewed shampoos/conditioners are ;)

Good luck finding a good shampoo, sweetie!
Dominican hair products are the best for shampooing and Conditioning. These can be googled another line that is more expensive made in spain is Salerm hair products or the italian line Alfa parf. you can find salerm and Alfa parf at www.metrobeauty.com also Terax makes good conditioners.
personally i'm a big fan of redken [';all soft';] and bumble %26amp; bumble [';super rich';] products.

i've never had much luck with drugstore brands as far as raving about them goes. they're all cut from the same cloth, in my opinion. salon quality is worth it if you're looking to love your hair :)

shampoo/conditioner doesn't really help your hair to become more straight.

Try blow drying it straight, and/or use a chi flat iron.

Or if you want perfect straight hair, get a digital or Japanese straightening, then use flat iron ^^;What are the best hair strightening products could i use like a good shampoo conditioner and a balm?

What is the best possible shampoo and other products for my hair?

my hair is curly and brown and i am getting tired if straiting it all the time it takes forever and makes my hair frizzy and dry Help!!!!What is the best possible shampoo and other products for my hair?
Use Jason shampoo for dry hair, it's all natural with no animal testing and keeps your hair clean but doesn't strip out too many oils. Don't use conditioner, it gets all gummy and sticky. Try using Dabur Jasmine Hair oil instead! Just comb it in the hair, leave in for an hour or two, and wash out! You can find it at almost any Indian grocer for only a few dollars. What is the best possible shampoo and other products for my hair?
For people with curly hair you should try and find products made just for your hair and thats natural. I use Qhemet Biologics and I also want to try the shampoo from Miessence. I do not use a lot of products on my hair, the less is better and function-able lol Good luck!

Should I buy salon products or store bought shampoo and conditioner?

A hairdresser told me store bought products aren't good for your hair and I should only use Salon products. She suggested buying them on ebay so I don't think she was trying to sell me something but I'm not sure. Do professionals really never use store bought products?Should I buy salon products or store bought shampoo and conditioner?
wash your hair with water shampoos do nothing but remove essentil oils from your hair!Should I buy salon products or store bought shampoo and conditioner?
i know they do bc my friends mom is a hair dresser, they just try to make more money for the saloon so i would buy store ones Good Luck!
As a professional I can honestly say I would never use store bought products. It is not that they are any good, it is just that you have to use so very much of them to equal the small dab of professional. The main difference between the two types of products is water. Store products have at least 75% more water in them than salon products. The next biggest difference is in the preservatives. A salon product is only good for 2 years (at best and only under the right conditions). I think a store product will last for decades. If your hair is healthy, never gets abused, then by all means use a store product. If your hair is damaged, color treated, chemically treated, or worse, use a salon product. It will save you money and preserve your hair.

    Good luck.
Honestly there isn't that much of a difference. Compare ingredients on the back and just keep trying different store brand products until you find one that works really well for YOU.

I've had the best of luck with the Aussie brand shampoos, especially the ';Roots And Tips'; for people that need extra cleaning at the roots but conditioning at the tips.

Never had ANY luck with the ultra cheapies, like Mane N Tail, Suave, VO5. But I do like the Aussie stuff.
Salon products are usually to strong for your hair.

The reason why more and more shampoos are released for ';dry or damaged hair'; is because they wanna target customers like you.

So why go for something else when you have great alternatives all around you?

Hope you have a good hair day. =D
My Aunt is a hairstylist and she only buys salon products, I do suggest getting salon products just because the quality is a lot better then those bought in supermarkets, wal*mart etc. Your hair stays stronger and shiny-errr! And their is no residue left in your hair.
    They lie.

Where do you think the ';salon products'; are made??

Yes, she's trying to make her sales, even if she suggested Ebay.

Would you rather just buy it THERE, or go online, place a bid, hope you win, pay for shipping, and WAIT for it to arrive?

    ***** EDIT ADD IN *****

I see the above answers are NO HELP at all...

Here, let me ask you, what kind of hair do you have? What kind of treatments do you have done? (Perms, dyes, curls, natural...) Also, what do YOU like to do to your hair? Are you a wash-and-go kind of person? Or 30 minutes to style kinda person?

You can email, or post it here, I'll answer either way.

    :o)
You got to be kidding,I used store bought and salon products and ALL my hair fell out... There both good ???
    i like both

my faves- salon(biolage matrix and nexus)

    - store(heand and shoulders

i would mix 3/4 matrix wit 1/4 head and shoulders it leaves ure hair feeling great and smells great too!
store boughten products leave a waxy build up on the hair and is very hard to remove. i tell my clients that the shampoo and cond is the most important product used on your hair. me personally i would not buy professional product on eBay. and no i never even walk down the isle of products at a store.

  • Can anyone tell me is it harmful to us when we wash our pets in flea shampoo or put flea products on our pets?

Read the instructions on the bottle of flea shampoo. Usually there will be warnings, or age/size guidelines. It can be dangerous to wash young kittens in flea shampoo.

Also, when using a spray product like frontline, usually there is an age recomendation, plus the product specifies the number of squirts per pound.

If you are not sure, there are safe alternatives, such as a flea comb. I defleaed my kittens using a flea comb and a plain water bath to drown the fleas as I was removing them. Putting animals in a bath usually forces the fleas to higher ground, and they will usaully move to the head or face. I would not recommend a flea comb for large animals, because it is time consuming. Can anyone tell me is it harmful to us when we wash our pets in flea shampoo or put flea products on our pets?
it can be harmful because it is a toxin developed to kill fleas but be safe for animals. it doesnt necessarily say its ok for humans.

it is reccommended to use gloves when washing your dog in any insecticide, and to wash your hands if some ';flea spot-on'; gets on our skin. It is advised that you do not touch the ';spot-on'; on your dog until it has been absorbed.]

while i'm sure the small amounts of the does wouldnt kill us, of course you would want to keep it away from children and the like. i think it would be a good idea for you to read the labels on flea products you are planning on using, or contact the company if you arent satisfied with the info the label provides.

another alternative is to get your local dog washer to use the flea shampoo instead. ';spot-ons'; are most effective if applied 24hrs after your dog (otherwise the damp fur can decrease the effectiveness)

hope this has helpedCan anyone tell me is it harmful to us when we wash our pets in flea shampoo or put flea products on our pets?
I think you should use as little as possible. There are organic products out there, Aubrey organics has sprays. Eucalyptus oil in a bath helps, but doesn't get them all and then the tub needs to be cleaned good so its not slippery. On the other hand, fleas are a big problem. I think brewer yeast helps, I forget how you use it, so just do a search on it.

I know for human lice, newer products use those silicone products that are in hair conditioner. The lice cant stick, it makes them slide off. Maybe these conditioners could help with fleas.
well for evry single living thing on the world ask urself would i like that do u think U would like to have flea pruduvts on u i dont tihnk so ... tip tip fleas and tics absolutly hate ucalipise trees so if u live near those ur pet is garenteed no ticks or fleas .
I think its ok to use. If it was harmful to use any flea control product then they probly would not sell. Good luck.
all these products are supposed to be tested to be safe before they are put out on the market
its okay to use provided u wash your hands well after its use

My scalp has severely dry skin. Off of the recommendation of a friend, I bought Neutrogena T-Gel and I have never looked back. After a few times of using it, my scalp was totally flake free.

A few things that people complain about is that it doesn't smell good (to me it smells like a guy's cologne). But honestly, the smell is worth it. If you don't like the smell, follow up with a little bit of the scented shampoo of your choice. You'll still get the benefits of the T-Gel.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love it. You can find it at any drugstore that sells Neutrogena products (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, maybe even Target?)

=]What is the best dandruff shampoo?... or products?
    REVLON!!!! it works wonders ;]

it's in a white bottle and says something about dandruff on the front cant really remember cuz i bought it a longgg time ago..
Nizoral shampoo, but you have to get a prescription from the doctor. It is the best I have ever used!

Try Pantene Clarifying Or Pantene Ice Shine庐 Shampoo or Jhirmack庐 Gelave鈩? these will clean very well without over stripping. If these don't do it for you try Original PRELL庐 shampoo. follow-up with Jhirmack庐 E.F.A.鈩?Conditioner Or L'Oreal庐 Vive-Pro鈩?Nutri-Gloss treatment.

E.F.A. Will not only moisturize, but it's emollients will also loosen the spray residue for removal when you rinse.

The Nutri-Gloss will smooth, reinforce and protect the cuticle (The hair's outer layer) so future applications of styling products will remove easier.

Adeva makes a really good clarifying shampoo. Otherwise any brand as long as it is 'clarifying' because they help get rid of the buildup from any other type of product that you use. They are made to be able to use them on a daily basis.
Try biologe, it's kinda expensive but it's lightweight and cleans my hair great.
keratese (idk if thats how u speell it) really works

i have it and im the same as u
Herbal Essances........ummmmmmmmm.......shoot! I can't remember what it's called. I think it's a in blue bottle but, like I said, I can't remeber. They have a website, you could check there to be sure.

Shampoo bars question and other natural products?

I am using a shampoo bar made from a soapmaker in Iowa and I really want to support local business and use natural products. It makes my hair very dry at the ends and greasy at the top and overall heavy. I use a vinegar rinse, too. Am I doing something wrong or do these things just not work? Also, are they're any good sites to find natural care products at an affordable price and what are the good brands.?Shampoo bars question and other natural products?

What kind of shampoo can I use on my dog if she is alergic to dog products?

She's a pekingnese mix. I'm baffles by this. Everything, even puppy products bother her. Please, someone tell me what I can bathe my little dog in.What kind of shampoo can I use on my dog if she is alergic to dog products?
    HI

I used Jhnsons baby shanmpoo, the yellow original formula on a lab I had that was VERY sensitive and he did fine with it.

He smelled wonderful and it worked well for him.

He co uld not even use the dog hypoallergenic shampoos

    Good Luck

WismomWhat kind of shampoo can I use on my dog if she is alergic to dog products?
there is a herbal shampoo.it wont get alergetic to your dog.
use a oatmeal based shampoo on her......
you can find hypo-allergenic dog shampoo if you do a yahoo search there are several different places to get it
use baby shampoo-and rinse completely-and do not shampoo too often-no more than once/week. I repeat- be sure to rinse all the soap off-it's hard to do with long haired dogs.
when you say products bother her, what do you mean? Does she break out? Get itchy? Have a severe reaction? If its a generally mild reaction such as itchiness, it may be dry skin. If thats the case, limit baths to once a month or less (dogs dont need to be bathed as often as some people like to bathe them) and try using a conditioner. If she is having allergic reactions such as hives, then ask your vet. Vets sell several excellant quality medicated shampoos that would be good for your puppy.

    Good luck. :)

    Shanna
Hi, I find cheap woolwash the best for our dog with sensitive skin, but not more often than three monthly
You can buy a special alergie dog one, this will not affect your dog at all.
Try baby shampoo. Dish soap might work (like Joy dishwashing soap) or ask the vet what he recommends. But I would start out with the baby shampoo. It is mild and gentle and won't sting the eyes. Johnsons is good.
    I might try baby shampoo.
    DON'T use baby shampoo

    it is MORE harsh

    he/she has either a dermatitis

    or nasal/sinus allergy

it could also be your water

it could also be a medical condition

please check with a vet first

if it is an allergy to alcohol based product

a company called Lambert Kay makes alternatives

also Wysong makes foods and other products for pets with allergies

this is a common occurance among small breed dogs

    especially if they are mixed

both Lambert Kay and Wysong have their own websites

but check with a vet first
go to your vet first but i use pyohex medicated foam which i get from the vet but please always check first
Try giving her a bath with products that DO NOT contain detergents. If you go to your veterinarian or a pet store you will find them. A good example is Aloe %26amp; Oatmeal Shampoo (the brand is VET). Also, try not to bathe her often, dogs will loose their shine if you do so.
    Aveeno....maybe

What similarity in pH do all cleaning products have in common (soap, shampoo, cleaner)? Why is this important?

    For a science project..

What similarity in pH do all cleaning products have in common (soap, shampoo, cleaner)? Why is this important?
The pH of cleaning products, such as soaps, shampoos, and cleansers, ranges from about 4.5 to 6.0, which is mildly acidic:

    Soap pH = 5.0-6.0

    Shampoo pH = 4.5-5.5

Such a pH is important, because it is very similar to the natural pH of skin and hair:

    Skin pH = 4.0-6.0

    Hair pH = 3.5-5.5

If there was a substantial discrepancy between the pH of cleaning fluids and skin or hair, then these external tissues could be damaged by exposure to cleaners. Because the pHs are similar, cleaners are safe to use on skin and hair.

    Should i avoid products/ shampoo, conditioners , moisturisers ?

I now have a 5 month old boy whom i am currently breastfeeding. When I was pregnant i was very careful about using shampoo`s and conditioners and moisturisers. Now that I`m breastfeeding are there certain ingredients that i should be aware of , to avoid when purchasing these items.Should i avoid products/ shampoo, conditioners , moisturisers ?
If you are so concerned about things that touch the outside of your body, I hope you are feeding yourself healthy organic foods. As far as your question goes, I would suggest you go with a product that is considered going green. Something with only natural ingredients in it that would be considered non toxic. Go to a natural/health food store. Most of the time they are reasonably priced, and it will ease your mind.

You have enough to worry about with a new baby! Congrats on the birth!!

Any shampoo or products I an buy in the stores to bleach my hair?

There sure are, but they will probably turn your hair orange and then you will have to either let it grow out or go to a salon and have them fix it. Your best bet would be to go to a salon and get it professionally done. It would be a lot safer, and it would look way better.
with your dark hair you need to buy bleach, in a box, do it yourself...the longer you leave it in the lighter it will get.
    Peroxide
Y do u even wnt to bleach your hair!!
no, just keep ur hair the way it is, b/c once u bleach it it's hard 2 go back....besides, guys dying hair is just weird.
ok your best bet to do it yourself and not go to a salon would be to go to a sally's store... if they have them where you live. if not go to a store where they sell salon products that anyone can buy and not just hairdressers. look for kaleidascope, basic white, or even verolight bleach. then buy a 30 volume developer. follow the directions and do it up. itll probably cost you a good 20-30 bucks. depending on where you live. itll be def. a lot cheaper then the salon i guarentee that.

    good luck.

Good 'natural' shampoo products for sensitive scalp?

I was wondering if anyone used hair shampoo (and conditioner) considered 'natural' and was happy with the product(s). Thanks so much!Good 'natural' shampoo products for sensitive scalp?
yeah, i got this green apple shampoo from bread and circus. go to a natural super market-like store to find one. they are alot better for hair and scalp because they dont have tons of chemicals. it made my hair softer and shinier, and it also stayed cleaner longer.. so i really reccomend you try one!Good 'natural' shampoo products for sensitive scalp?
I have had great success with the Royal Spa collection. Not sure if it meets your criteria for ';Natural'; but I know they don't use a lot of harsh chemicals or anything like that.
    ahha,

    aveeno!

it is moisterizing and smells good.

    i love the product.

but it differs on how your hair is...[dyed, curly, straight etc.]

if this doesnt help you i would suggest talking to a hair stylist.

Do hair products like Shampoo and Conditioner expire?

If you have shampoo /cond unopened for a while, like a few months - does it expire?Do hair products like Shampoo and Conditioner expire?
    Sure it can...

I once found Shampoo in a salon I knew was discontinued 10 years ago that smelled like sour milk...Why the salon was still selling it I don't know.

Most Manufacturers put their products through a process called stabilization that determines what causes breakdowns (or expiring of the shampoo).

So while shampoo and conditioner don't necessarily Expire, they do over time (depending on where it is stored... IE... in the sun, or if it's been frozen) break down and can lose effectiveness.

Typically you can tell when this happens, Manufacturers call for a package redesign, utilized to liquidate old stock , and bring to market new batches of fresher product.

Or in my example it was smelly and discolored.

So if you are using old packaging of a product it may have brokendown ( or Expired).

    Hope that helps...

In your case of '; a few months'; I tend to dought it...Do hair products like Shampoo and Conditioner expire?
    I think no
no expiration date. (unless there's one on the bottle) that stuff is good for a life time.
~A few months is fine, but after years, they do expire. They get thick, sticky and stinky.~
No, I don't think so, not unless maybe you have it for years, but I am thinking most people don't last more than a month so it;s fine.
    lol no silley
it wont expire if it hasnt been opened for a few months, but once you open it it is more likely to expire, although it takes a very long time. it depends on the brand youre using, but you can usually see a discoloration and change in texture when it starts to expire. but its not bad for you or dangerous or anything when it starts to expire, its just that the chemicals used to make it start to break down. hair products, like hair sprays and gels, take a much longer time to expire than shampoo ad conditioner, which themselves take a long time to expire. most people use up their bottles way before they even have a chance to start breaking down.

I have tried Infusium 23 before, but I wasn't thrilled with it....the leave-in conditioner is watery and stained my robe and towels.
I like it.. but I like Paul Mitchell and Pantene better.

Would using a straightening shampoo and products help tame my wild curls? I want to try out a shorter hair cut?

I have the great fortune of having ambidextrous hair. Blessed 鈥?or so I'm told 鈥?with natural curls, I can pull off five-minute hair with the best of 'em just by doing a quick scrunch with quality curling gel and a blow dryer.

Doing my hair straight? A much more laborious experience. And if I let my hair dry naturally? Disaster.

As such, I've become an admitted product whore, trying pretty much everything I can get my hands on to both create defined curls and smooth frizzies for straightened hair.I think I've road tested probably every gel, serum, pomade, cr猫me, wax and everything in between in an effort to get my hair to do whatever it was that I wanted it to do ... everything except curling and straightening shampoos, that is.

Apparently, this would become the next frontier in my hair battle.

Bumble %26amp; Bumble has both a Curl Conscious shampoo and conditioner formulated with ingredients that require you to have a linguistics degree to pronounce, but suffice it to say, they're purported to encourage shiny, frizz-free curls that start developing the moment you step out of the shower. And to that I say, mission accomplished. I was pretty much astonished at the quality of curl I had after blow drying, and when I later added their defining cr猫me? Even better.

Meanwhile, Aveda has a Be Curly line that claims to reduce frizz and define curl up to 57%. I invested in their Be Curly Kit, which has shampoo, conditioner, enhancer and control. Ditto what I said above. I don't know what it is they've done to make their hair care encourage my 'do to be so rich and full, but it's seriously never looked this good. The flipside to their curly line is Smooth Infusion, of which I picked up their shampoo and conditioner. It also does a miraculous job of pulling my hair in the direction I want it to go in, relaxing my curls and getting any frizz to calm for optimum straightening with a round-brush and hair dryer.

Often times, the promises a product makes are largely bogus ... but these are proof that every once in a while, the advertising fits the bill.Would using a straightening shampoo and products help tame my wild curls? I want to try out a shorter hair cut?
No, probably not. The straightening shampoos, in my experience, are meant to be used in conjunction with a straightener or something (so the shampoo alone won't do it). Also, I've noticed that especially the conditioners that ';straighten'; are very heavy - I think this might be the only real reason why they might work. They're all probably made for people with hair that is maybe a little wavy. All it might do for you is weigh it down a little bit, but if your curls really are ';wild'; I wouldn't cut it short. You'd have an afro.Would using a straightening shampoo and products help tame my wild curls? I want to try out a shorter hair cut?
ya my friend is puertorican and she has crazy hair and she used straightening shampoos for like 2months straight and wen she lets her hair air dry its not that crazy curly anymore. use more the conditioner then the shampoo and leave the conditioner in for almost the whole shower
probably not i think straightening shampoo's are made for people who straighten there hair.....you can go to what ever place you get your hair cut and get your hair permanently straighten it does less damage to your hair then straightening it everyday.
try sleek by matrix. shampoo conditioner and mask. also a smoothing serum from biolage is good.
It will tame them but not forever, I got a shorter cut and it was easier to tame my curls
should help at least a little, straightening iron ftw like peoples abuv me says
hair straightening iron for the win.

What are some good shampoo/ conditioner products?

something that keeps hair healthy and shinyWhat are some good shampoo/ conditioner products?
Depends mainly A.) Your specific hair needs. B.)Your price range and C.) Where you are located in the world.

For example: My hair is coarse, it is colored every 4 weeks on the nose and it is styled with hot tools every day. There for my hair care products needs are something that contains a heavy amount of moisture and needs to be color safes to be safe.

In all personal opinion I go to Sally Beauty Supply. I use the Ion brand line that they carry in everything from shampoo/conditioner, hair color and developer to flat iron spray to their hair spray. I use just about every Ion product they make that meets my hair care needs.

Experiment with different brands if you have to. Because if a product works for one person's hair it will not work for another.

If your not sure what type of hair you have go to a salon and get a hair consultation on your hair and what products they think would be best for your hair. What are some good shampoo/ conditioner products?
    Pantene! =D

Best shampoo, conditioner & hair products to use on highlighted hair?

I have medium length dark brown hair, with just a few slight blonde/caramel highlights throughout the top. I also blowdry and straighten my hair everyday. I find my hair gets really dry and somewhat brittle on the ends when I highlight it. I only use salon shampoos and conditioners, but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend good products to use for highlighted/coloured hair...thats also good to use for thermal styling. My hair is pretty thick, but my hairdresser keeps it really layered to lighten it up. Which shampoo/products help your grow REALLY fast?

im a mixed person with black curly short hair. i love my curls so much, but i want them to grow longer. what hair products help? i want product that will help your hair grow like 1-2 inches in a month. so, please help me! and try not to put anything too expensive...Which shampoo/products help your grow REALLY fast?
The key to growing longer hair is treating it with weekly deep conditioners and using minimum heat. Also do not wash every day and use a mild shampoo that won't weight your hair down.

I've heard taking vitamins for pregnancy works, but you won't see a difference really. The average hair grows a month is 1/2 of an inch. Some people's hair grows fast, others don't.

Good luckk and I am currently growing out my hair too.Which shampoo/products help your grow REALLY fast?
    Hi there,

You sound really nice so Im going to tell you my top secret finding to having your hair grow longer. It's sea kelp. It only costs a few 拢s here in the UK from a pharmacy and what it does is naturally increase your metabolism. Ive only been taking it a few weeks and honestly overnight my hair seemed thicker and longer - both complimented by people. I know its growing fast also because normally I have to shave my underarms every 5 days say - now its every 2 days! Good luck and really try this - it works! xxx

My friend is interested in natural ways and all I know so far is olive oil is good for babies. I was wondering if anyone knows what are some natural ways for baby care? What are some natural products for baby care? like lotions, shampoo, body wash, oil?
I use almond oil to massage my baby and for hair I use coconut oil. Also, you can use almond oil for yourself as well. Almond oil has a natural bleech agent. It gives your skin narishment and shine natural way. You don't need to use any kind of lotion after that. What are some natural products for baby care? like lotions, shampoo, body wash, oil?

How does AG shampoo & conditioner compare to Joico or other salon hair products?

I thought it smelled wonderful but I wanted to know what other people thought of it. My hair is colored and VERY thick-frizzy.

Do you think it's better than Joico or Paul Mitchell? How does AG shampoo %26amp; conditioner compare to Joico or other salon hair products?
I think they compare rather well actually. I really like AG products, especially Ultramoist conditioner =)

But they are lacking in protein, which Joico has, so i would rotate them and use both.

What is a good shampoo to use when you use a lot of products?

I don't want build up and I am looking for something I can get at Walmart. What is a good shampoo to use when you use a lot of products?
I use Tres Semme. (I think that's how you spell it!) It's ';Salon'; formula leaves your hair silky smooth without all that build up. It also helps correct and prevent breakage. I think its like $3 a bottle, but it's worth every penny. :0)What is a good shampoo to use when you use a lot of products?
Tre Semme, VO5, Schwarzkopf and Herbal Essences are particularly good ones. VO5 hot oils are fanastic for occasional use, my hair feels amazing afterwards. The other three are good for general use, particularly Tre Semme because you get loads for your money! My hairdresser uses a Schwarzkopf one that smeels of Batternburg cake which is fit!
use herbal essence or sunsilk they r the besttttttt
L'Oreal Elseve is the best one for me. Use the Conditionner after it for best results
I use Aussie products, they have been great so far, they have different stuff for different hair types also. Just try it and see if it works for you.
Aussie miracle moist is great, don't if walmart do it don't no this store.
use Kenra it's a moisturizer. Check at the Salon for it

  • My hair is frizzy & damaged. I use products everyday. How often should I shampoo my hair?

I read lots of articles saying to only shampoo once or twice weekly but I use curl creme in my hair and hairspray everyday. Shouldn't that be washed out? Also what is a good deep conditioner and repair serum? My hair is frizzy %26amp; damaged. I use products everyday. How often should I shampoo my hair?
ok i used to have the exact same problem. I have really curly hair and it used to be frizzy and damaged. And i have tried everything. I also use the Aussie hair gel. Works great!!! But i have to wash my hair and condition it every morning and I think you should do that anyway just so you can get all the gel or whatever you put in your hair out. And since I have done that my hair isnt damaged or frizzy. The shampoo I use is Pantene the green colored one. Works really well. You can find it at Walmart. Hope this helps. :)My hair is frizzy %26amp; damaged. I use products everyday. How often should I shampoo my hair?
Ok, First thing's first. You said your hair is damaged...so you really should stop using that hairspray everyday. I'm not sure if your hair is relaxed but relaxed hair should be shampooed at least once a wk and try to deep condition your hair every time you wash your hair.

Also, if you find yourself having to wash your hair every day for some reason, try shampoo once and then condition wash (use conditioner the way you would shampoo) the rest of the way.

But if you want to get your hair back to a healthy state you should stop using damaging products, be patient, and deep condition the hell outta that b*tch. Try deep conditioning with Dominican products.

    Good Luck Girl! %26lt;3
I wash my hair every other day and use a light spray in conditioner on the day I am not washing it. Also, if you buy specific treatment shampoo/conditioner, then you may not have to use the curl creme. I like my hair straight, so I just use straight-line conditioner and then I'm good to go with a quick blow dry.
Personally I have to wash my hair everyday, I can't go without washing it, otherwise it just feels nasty. I've heard other people say they rinse their hair daily and use conditioner, but only shampoo a few times a week. To me it seems like it would just let product build up on your hair. I like Infusium leave in conditioner, it helped my hair a lot.

Hey how would you rate pantene pro-v breakage defense shampoo, conditioner, and styling products?

I straighten my hair like a ton because i HAVE to so i need a shampoo and conditioner, stying products, etc. that are good for breakage defense and repair. if you don't think pantene breakage defense is good, then what is?Hey how would you rate pantene pro-v breakage defense shampoo, conditioner, and styling products?
    pantene is really good

ive used herbal essences, garnier, nutrogena and aussie

and pantene makes my hair really soft and protects my hair

but it makesur hair thinner sometimes because its really strong

aussie is really good if you have frizzy hair, garnier makes yur hair soft and herbal essences is okay cause it has all these plant extracts in it=]

dont use deep treatment cause it's the same as normal conditioner i read it in a magazine=]

i straighten my hair everyday too!

oh try using john frieda=] it smells okay its not the best but it worked for me=]Hey how would you rate pantene pro-v breakage defense shampoo, conditioner, and styling products?
Out of all of the shampoos, conditioners and products I have ever used, Pantene is my favorite for both myself and my daughter. We use two different ones because her hair is a little different than mine but it is sooooo soft and clean looking and feeling. Seriously, people will comment your hair about how pretty and shiny it is if you use Pantene.

I personally use Pantene Pro-V Classic Care Shampoo and Conditioner for me and Smooth and Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner for my daughter.

We also use the deep fortifying treatment which is a conditioner that you leave in for 3 minutes and rinse out and it repairs damage to your hair.

For my daughter we use the Daily Renewal Treatment spray leave in conditioner.

and we both use the Pantene Curl defining Scrunching gel.

    Hope this helps :)
Try Herbal Essences Break's Over Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave In. It has a Coco Mango scent and your hair will thank you.

Tigi bed head products (shampoo and conditioner) are they good for dryed hair?

Tigi Bed head make GREAT products for all different kinds of hair, even tho there slightly on the pricey side they do wonders for even really dryed hair. I use bed head hair mousse and that REALLY softens up my hair and makes it less brittle/dry, and my hair is extremely dryed up and damaged. The shampoo is the same, and I can imagine the conditioner would be aswell. Their a great hair company :]Tigi bed head products (shampoo and conditioner) are they good for dryed hair?
i dont now that at all first time i heard it and never try it also

Does shampoo choice (and other hair care products) really matter that much for hair styling?

I recently told my sisters that i use white rain or sauve (whatever is cheaper at the time), and they looked at me like i was stupid. i can't see spending $10 a bottle on shampoo, but then again, i am very much a tomboy, even as an adult, and don't really care about hair. And am i supposed to be using conditioner every time i wash it, too? Will it REALLY make that much of a difference in styling my hair?Does shampoo choice (and other hair care products) really matter that much for hair styling?
I think you should Educate you self about products chemicals, I will like you to read this sides..

    http://www.newstarget.com/003210.html

http://www.organicconsumers.org/bodycare鈥?/a> and then watch out for you ...Take care Honey...

Try to used ';Nexxus'; or any natural shampoo...Does shampoo choice (and other hair care products) really matter that much for hair styling?
yes and yes. I have tried many shampoos and conditioners over the many years of looking after my hair and found that I can only use certain ones because they make my hair more managable and shiny. I have tried differrent hairsprays and mouse and gels as well and found that some of them create flakes or dandruff looking stuff. So I personally choose what works for me. If suave works for you, GO for it.
I know personally i need to use a conditioner everytime because my hair is just so thick and can't be combed through anyother way. If you're hair is fine using those products than it's not that big of a deal at all. The people who use the really expensive stuff are those who really care about their hair or color it alot and need some health back in it.
Some shampoos (especially Suave) coat your hair with a wax-like substance that just builds up on your hair and may even weigh it down. I think the line of Dove styling products, shampoos and conditioners is worth the extra couple of dollars. If you feel like your hair has some sort of build up on it or it just looks dull....You can clean it with baking soda. I know it sounds weird but it works. You take some baking soda and make a paste with it (baking soda and water) and wash your hair with it. It will clean anything that has built up on your hair (like chlorine, hair spray, or other styling products).

    I hope this helps.
    I personally hate 'expensive' conditioners.

They coat your hair with silicone stuff which eventually leaves you with heaps of buildup.

The shampoos are alright, but god, I HATE those conditioners!

Buying the cheap ones are fine, I do most of the time.

Everyone now'a'days just thinks that the more expensive the product is, the better it will be.

    Its all lies.

    =D

EDIT : dove sucks, cause it contains so much moisturiser it just makes your hair greasy.
you definitely need the conditioner more than the shampoo. You could get away with shampooing every other day but you almost daily need to condition it. Even if it is a leave in variety that you just spray on and ';go';. I personally find that more expensive brands work better for my hair. I have extremely thick and wavy hair and I like a smooth sleek style and the best conditioners and shampoos I have found for myself have been Frederick Fekkai %26amp; Jonathan Hair product. That is just me. Everyone's hair is different. If you have dry hair get a shampoo and conditioner specifically for dry hair. Or if your hair is normal then just get a normal balance for hair. Honestly, if you want to try to step it up and buy a little better product I would start with Pantene, its a little more expensive and their products smell better, work well and are reasonably priced.

also for ';styling'; its not much of the shampoo that is the difference but the product. Product means (styling cream, mousse, pomade and items along that nature.) If you have extremely thick curly hair you would want to use a serum to straighten it and prefent the frizzies or use it to activate the curl a little better and make them more pronounced.

Sally's carries a product called Porosity Control it is excellent for extensions they have the shampoo as well conditioner.

I have used this on some of the worst tangles on extensions, it works. the price is pretty reasonable. A small amount goes a long way.
you don't wash your hair with clip in extensions, you take them out when: sleeping and when your gonna wash your hair.

The glued in ones (which are BAD) can be wash with reg hair and slept with.

Can anyone recommend a shampoo, conditioner and hair products?

My hair is ginger, curly and frizzy and is extremely thick. It is fabulous when just washed but is a mess next day when I brush it if I dont it looks tangled, it is mid lenghtCan anyone recommend a shampoo, conditioner and hair products?
Pantene!!! You can't go wrong with Pantene.

http://walmart.triaddigital.com/enhanced鈥?/a>Can anyone recommend a shampoo, conditioner and hair products?
    aussie, 3 minute miracle.
I have very curly hair just like you and use Pureology. I don't use shampoo on it at all (maybe once a month if it is really dirty from working outside or something or from product build-up) - I wash with conditioner only (learned this trick from a book called Curly Girl recommended by my stylist - it works - my hair is clean not greasy at all!). Then a little Redken gel and a curl cream I use by Matrix and I have nice soft, not frizzy hair and it doesn't get tangled.

And don't brush it when it's dry ever. I use my fingers or a wide tooth comb gently to shape it, or I wet it down, comb it and let it air dry. I only comb it out right before washing.
I have frizzy hair also and i use a number of products (not all at once!)

    1. Charles Worthington (straight and protect)

    2. a good conditioner, or hair mask, i always find that frizzy hair always seems in bad condition unless I use a conditioner. Clynol leave in conditioner is fabulous. You can only buy it in hairdressers but it actually works deep into the hairs. Normal conditioners are just for making hair managable and shiny and don't actually fix the problem.

    3. If you straighten definatly use protection spray (i use toni and guy)

    4. If your hair has a curl when just washed but after brushing it goes frizzy dont brush it. I know it sounds nessy but wash your hair in the morning, brush it when wet then put in a curling serum then scrunch and leave it to dry naturally. If you don't have time use a diffuser to dry your hair.

    5. Any frisease product is good but i like the serum you put in your hair after its styled, keeps static and flyaway hairs at bay!

    6. finally I use toni and guy shine spray for that extra sparkle. =]

If you want your hair to be thinner get your hair dresser to use thinning scissors, reduced the time it takes me to do my hair by half after those!

    good luck!
John Frieda! Not only are they REALLY hydrating, but they contain really good shimmers!! Makes your hair look fabulous.
    Ojon nurishing is fab
I recommend 'So savy' its meant for coloured hair but I've been us ing it for 4 months now and my hair has never been so good! (I also recommend usin their leave in moisturiser) It makes it shiny but not greasy and smells of strawberry sorbet! It even looks great when i brush it in the morning!
    Anything by TIGI
Elive is brill cos they do it 4 frizzy and smooth dandruff an all sorts!
aussie shampoo and conditioner is brill.. oh and frizz ease spray is brill too
    Tresemme is good.
main and tail , also nexxus products
    PANTENE PRO-V WORKS REALLY WELL

USE SMOOTH AND SLEEK ITZ THE GREEN ONE...........

    GUD LUC

    CHELSEA . . . ~~ . . . XxX
just never brush your hair while its dry.

    use leave in conditioners

my hair is curly to and i just use alot of normal condtioner that i keep in all the time

other products dry out my hair!
My fair was exactly the same but now it is okay.

    Try:

I would recomend getting your hair thinned out and some layers in it.

Shampoo & Conditioner or hair products that will make your hair soft?

before when i lived at home we had soft water and my hair always felt so soft. Now im 21 and live in my own apartment which has hard water. My hair feels like hay after i blow dry it, it absolutley drives me crazy. I use salon shampoos and conditioners but haven't found any that i absolutley love and continue to buy. Is there any products out there that will help with this problem!? Most product brands offer a more moisturizing version of they're product. I use Garnier Moisture Works and it seems to be pretty good.

I used to use biolage which worked REALLY well but its quite expensive.
Tresemme! Right now, I'm using the anti-breakage shampoo and conditioner and my hair is always soft!

    Best of luck.
try tresseme da conditioner helps alot
    try Aussies's shampoos.
i use vive pro. it made my hair shiny and smooth.
Hard water sucks the big one.

I have an at-home remedy, but it's more of a rinse than a shampoo or conditioner.

I would recommend trying it at least once. It's super cheap.

It did WONDERS for my hair when it dries out in the summer months.

    You'll need a blender.

    1 egg

About a 2 inch chunk of cucumber.

    And olive oil.

Cut up the cucumber, toss it in the blender.

Crack open the egg, but put in the egg WHITES only!

Then fill one half of the egg shell with the olive oil.

Poor in the olive oil (obviously leaving out the egg shell).

    Blend it all together.

Pour it over your hair (you may need to double to above-mentioned depending on how much hair you have).

Wrap it in either a plastic bag or cover it with a shower cap.

Leave it for about 2 minutes and then rinse your hair REALLY well in COOL water.

    Voila!

The cucumber softens your hair and the oils and egg whites make it shiny.

Has anyone had hair loss from using hair products, and especially Head and Shoulders shampoo?

My 14 year old daughter has lost 30-35% of her hair over past 4-6 months. Today, the only advice her doctor gave us was for her to stop Head and Shoulders and see if that helps. Has anyone found that discontinuing a hair product stopped hair loss?Has anyone had hair loss from using hair products, and especially Head and Shoulders shampoo?
    yes..... it can happen!!

year ago I suffered very much from dandruff and hair loss too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss.

the things that really worked for me was:

    1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

    2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

    3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

    4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

    5) also I used herbal treatment - Provillus (do not use Rogaine - it will not work!)

It is a good products that helps prevent hair loss and contains Biotin and the clinically tested ingredients approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair.! I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Provillus but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.provillus.com/?aid=221781

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

Also Informative video about Provillus - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ydvCHhbR鈥?/a>

    good luck!

not only my own personal experience + working as a family physician

http://www.mybeautynhealth.comHas anyone had hair loss from using hair products, and especially Head and Shoulders shampoo?
Yes some chemicals in shampoos may cause hair loss. Another reason could be hormonal imbalances as she is on puberty stage. A lot of things happens to her hormones which can cause hair loss too. If results don't happen after not using the shampoo, it would be best to see doctor which can address her hormonal imbalances.
Yes, it is true that some chemicals in shampoos may cause hair loss.

However, my daughter is also suffering from same problem. And I once told this

to one of my best friend in my Office. She, told me about hair regrowth product

called ';Provillus For Women';, I used ';Provillus For Women'; which is free and now

I find lot of difference. Her hair is growing rapidly and is healthy now. I am very

happy to see this. Now, she goes to school with happy SMILE's :).

What is the best shampoo for hair that uses lot of hair products?

I have very short hair (around 2 to 3 inches in length). I use hair paste everyday to style my hair. My hair used to be quite soft but nowadays I noticed it getting rougher especially at the ends. I hear that if you use a lot of hair products you need some sort of clarifying shampoo to properly wash out all the stuff you put in your hair. I don't think my current shampoo is effective as each time I use it, I feel it's very hard to wash out all that stuff from my hair. Does anyone have a shampoo/conditioner to recommend? What is the best shampoo for hair that uses lot of hair products?
    Pantean Pro V Ice Shine

i use so many hair products and do so much crap to my hair

i get slipt ends easily too

but im proud to say that after using pantean pro v ice shine shampoo and conditoner i dont have a single oneWhat is the best shampoo for hair that uses lot of hair products?
I like this Kirkland Signature Pair that I get at Cosco. Coconut Butter or something. Really nice
    go and find one.
stop using that stuff for a couple days. Use herbal essences drama clean shampoo to get it out. Use herbal essences body envy conditioner, it works great.
Loreal they make conditioner and shampoo and now they make some with both in one bottle
well i don't always use product but when i do and when i wash my hair i use herbal essence and it seems to work pretty good.
o shanpoo caseiro da minha avo e ovo batido com beterraba e cenoura.
Pantene Pro-V, use the one for your hair color. They make one for brunettes, red heads, and blondes.

And if they don't do the trick use baby shampoo mixed with 2 tablespoons white vinegar. Your hair will be squeaky clean.

There is an organic brand called Jason which has a tea tree oil shampoo, I like to add baking soda once every two weeks. Its been great, and my scalp does not itch like it used to from buildup.

It's at some walmart stores, but I go to an organic store (whole foods market) to buy it.(About $ 6.00)
the one i use wich is incredable is selsum(sp) blue look for the one with the red cap
I like biolage, pert plus and head and shoulders

I have long hair and always had dry split end I also used same shampoo for yrs. I switched a time or two. Then my style st told me using same shampoo over and over was not good for dry, spite, or build up. She said to change my shampoo every month.
There is a Neutrogena shampoo called anti residue. you use it once a week in place of your other shampoo and it keeps your hair shiny and build-up free...

Go to your nearest Beauty supply and ask what kind you need for your hair. Everyone's hair is different. I use a violet shampoo for my blond highlights, it takes off all the excess buildup. I forgot what it is called, buy it's in a white bottle, and the actual shampoo is bright Violet. Thay also have different colors for for every color, ask someone at the beauty supply, they will know what it's called.
any shampoo that is labeled as a ';Clarifying shampoo'; look for that in any shampoo...also you can add baking soda to regular shampoo that will also clarify your hair. It is good to do it once a week with either options.
Typically it would be one that is a clarifying shampoo on the label. It is also usually a low sudsing one as well because constant use of excess suds adds to the hair what you are trying to get rid of. Good luck!
mabey try a Head and Shoulders' product

What hair products/shampoo would work best on my hair?

i have lots of hair that is poofy and has way 2 much volume

its not that frizzy but its really poofy.

What hair products/shampoo would work best on my hair?
Heehee I used to have the same problem =P my friends described my hair as looking like a swimming jellyfish when I walked =S I'd suggest using moisturising hair conditioners and shampoos, an example could be Tresemme's moisture rick (blue) or salon silk (teal) range, both work great for me! Or, Aussie's MIracle Moist. Also, if wherever you live had a superdrug they sell this amazing conditioner in pots for certain hair types, blonde, brown, or for dry damaged hair which are wonderful. They're only two pound a big pot, and just wash your hair, put some in and leave in for the night. Wash off in the morning with cold water, and if you have it apply leave-in conditioner, gloss, straightening balm or whatever you like to use =D

Worked for me, and I bleach my hair from dark brown to blonde (murders your hair =(...)and no frizzies here =PWhat hair products/shampoo would work best on my hair?
just cheap ones there is no 'best' they all work pretty great but if you dye your hair they're are some special ones you need but for the poof theres cheap ones from rite aid or brooks

I'm launching a new product a luxury line of beauty products like lotions, shampoos and body scrubs and I'm getting around to pricing them. Whats the best ';volumizing'; shampoo and styling products?

My hair tends to fall flat by mid day. What products out there work best at keeping ones hair volumized?Whats the best ';volumizing'; shampoo and styling products?
Do you know what a Philly fade is? I don't have that problem with the hair going flat. It's a get up and go about your business style. Anyway, my choice of shampoo to keep the doo volumized is Garnier Nutrisse(I really don't have a clue, but the name sounds nice).Whats the best ';volumizing'; shampoo and styling products?
Cheap Walmart brand does it for me...

    ';White Rain';... $0.99 a bottle.....lol
head and shoulders works for me you should try it :-0
Try some other shampoo from the hair stylist. There are many shampoo's that will help the volume in your hair.
My personal favorite is ';JASON with biotin'; shampoo.

I love it!! It gives my hair lots of volume and shine.

I get it at my local GNC store.

It has biotin, which is a protein. I love the way it works on MY hair. It is a shampoo/conditioner combination.

You might want to try it out and see how well it works for your specific hair type. I really think it's worth a try!!
