Hey there, I feel your pain. I always had flakes and I tried Head and Shoulders and it NEVER worked for me. It was SO frustrating.
My scalp has severely dry skin. Off of the recommendation of a friend, I bought Neutrogena T-Gel and I have never looked back. After a few times of using it, my scalp was totally flake free.
A few things that people complain about is that it doesn't smell good (to me it smells like a guy's cologne). But honestly, the smell is worth it. If you don't like the smell, follow up with a little bit of the scented shampoo of your choice. You'll still get the benefits of the T-Gel.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love it. You can find it at any drugstore that sells Neutrogena products (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, maybe even Target?)

it's in a white bottle and says something about dandruff on the front cant really remember cuz i bought it a longgg time ago..
Nizoral shampoo, but you have to get a prescription from the doctor. It is the best I have ever used!
