No shampoo can actually ';thicken'; your hair but there are some great products that can give that effect. I recommend a range called Amplify from the brand Matrix. You should be able to by it anywhere. There Shampoo and conditioners are great and they have this product called Root Lift which is great
Get Nioxin!!!! Mane n' Tail is totally cheap and ineffective. My sister's hair was getting a little thin so I got her the Nioxin shampoo %26amp; conditioner, she loves it.

(I'm a total product junkie. Also, to Julia, I have the Matrix Amplify products, blue bottle, and I really didn't like them. I felt like they made my hair super flat but also prone to static, go figure. The conditioner was really watery too. If you're gonna go with Matrix get the Biolage products, they work the same but smell soo good!)
No shampoo can make the hair thick. All of them are just gimmick and are very expensive. They only give you a false impression of a thick hair but actually it is not. The best thing to do is to use vitamins. Try Biotin, good for skin and hair.
